Bird Spikes

With the advent of new materials there are now many different solutions to prevent roosting birds with the use of spiking systems. We will consider the individual circumstances before choosing a system and its fixing method.

Once installed spikes can be hard to spot and will last for several years before replacement is required. All spikes are installed with the correct silicone adhesive - Avipoint P14, P20, P32 are installed with Network Silicone Adhesive and Pigeonproof Plastic Spikes with David Jones & Son Silicone. In damp settings instead of silicone we use Avifix, a stronger hard wearing silicone.

Spikes are available in stainless steel, galvanized, aluminum, copper or plastic.

We are able to obtain several colours of spikes including red, black, brown and green to blend in with buildings. The majority of these spikes are on a made to order basis so advanced ordering is required.
